Project 3 - Passed!

Ending the year on a high note. :)

I received the evaluation on my resubmitted Project 3, and after cleaning up the requested issues, the result was...

I'm glad that I was able to get the hoped for evaluation result, and realize that in my excitement to get the arcade project in, I had completely missed the basics in my own review of my code. Hopefully, lesson learned and I can remember to watch for this before submitting projects in the future.

  1. Thanks for writing this. There isn't much online as far as real world experience with the nanodegrees. I'm interested in starting one but was wondering how different it is from taking the free courseware. Are they the same courses but you receive coaching as well?

    1. The nanodegree utilizes the same courses that you can take for free on Udacity, but the benefit comes from interacting with coaches and students in the same nanodegree cohort. Support is community based, using both chat and forum layouts to exchange information between students, with oversight and input from the coaches. It can seem a bit impersonal, but I found it useful to bounce ideas off of other students.

This is also different than taking an individually paid course, as those have 1-on-1 coaching and reviews.
